Insurance School Director

Responsibilities
Oversee and implement curriculum modification across the nation, student experience is consistent, issues are resolved quickly
Curriculum quality & freshness: materials stay accurate, aligned to exam requirements, and instruction is effective
Compliance readiness: course approvals, records, policies, and marketing claims remain audit-ready. Business results: enrollment, completion, pass rates, and satisfaction trend positively; costs and vendor performance are managed. Scalable workflow: repeatable processes for updates, new courses, and multi-state expansion (leveraging AI responsibly)
Manage training calendar, course delivery (live/virtual/self-paced), and instructor schedules
Maintain student communications, support workflows, and issue escalation/resolution
Ensure learning platforms/LMS and tooling are functioning; coordinate fixes with vendors/IT as needed. Maintain SOPs and documentation so operations are repeatable and not person-dependent
Own the curriculum lifecycle: research → design → build → review → release → continuous improvement
Create value through online materials. Ensure content aligns to exam outlines and student needs; incorporate feedback and performance data
Track requirements for course approvals/renewals and documentation needed for audits
Ensure advertising and student-facing statements are accurate, compliant, and consistently used
Maintain records (attendance/completions where applicable), instructor credentials, and version history of course content
Monitor regulatory changes; update curriculum and processes promptly
Monitor KPIs and provide regular reporting/insights to leadership
Coordinate with marketing/sales on scheduling, messaging accuracy, and promotions (within compliance guardrails)
Manage vendors (platforms, print/materials, proctoring/testing partners if applicable) and control costs
Identify expansion opportunities (new states, new products, partnerships) and execute plans
Use AI to accelerate drafting, summarization, content mapping, and version comparisons—with mandatory human/compliance review
Build repeatable workflows for multi-state customization and quick updates while maintaining quality standards
Document prompts, checklists, and QA steps so outputs are consistent and auditable
