Responsibilities
Process all invoices and ensure timely payment
Monitor monthly vendor statements and manage disputes when necessary
Provide bi-weekly draw summaries to lenders, request funds, and issue vendor payments
Manage all deposits and incoming funds
Reconcile monthly bank statements
Manage all operating and WIP accounts
Monitor budgets as invoices arrive and inform the COO if operating expenses exceed the budget
Prepare, monitor, and maintain all financial reports and statements, P&L, budgets, forecasts, etc
Review balance sheet daily to ensure costs and deposits are being classed and coded correctly
Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax laws
Ensure vendor compliance with insurance requirements
Prepare the company for growth by evaluating systems and processes to ensure scalability. Implement new systems and processes as necessary
Qualification
Required
At least 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
A formal education or degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred, or equivalent 5+ years of experience
Must be comfortable using QuickBooks and Buildertrend
Must have the ability to read, decipher, and prepare financial statements
Must be comfortable working in Excel
Preferred
Prior experience in QuickBooks and Buildertrend is preferred
Advanced Excel skills are an advantage
