Responsibilities
Owning and optimizing the month-end close using automation and AI-supported workflows
Building scalable accounting policies, controls, and reporting frameworks
Supporting audits, reviews, and investor or lender requirements
Implementing or enhancing ERP, close management, and reporting tools
Leveraging AI to improve reconciliations, variance analysis, and data accuracy
Streamlining manual processes through intelligent automation and workflow redesign
Preparing the finance function for scale, transactions, or CFO transition
Qualification
Required
Have Controller or heavy managerial accounting/finance experience
Are highly hands-on and comfortable in lean, fast-paced environments
Enjoy improving processes—not just maintaining them
Are curious about AI, automation, and finance transformation
Take ownership, move quickly, and follow through
Preferred
Hold a CPA (preferred, not required)
Experience in high-growth, PE-backed, or professional-services environments is strongly valued
