Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day technical support for internal teams and external clients using FIX protocol (4.2 / 4.4) for electronic trading, pricing, and straight-through processing (STP)
Assist with FIX client onboarding, including gathering requirements, configuring FIX settings, and supporting testing efforts
Work closely with the Trading Desk to understand workflows and help support trading activity
Support both high-touch and low-touch equity trading workflows
Assist with onboarding and supporting external software vendors that integrate with internal trading systems
Participate in testing and rollout of new FIX configurations, enhancements, and applications
Help monitor production systems and escalate issues when needed
Document procedures and assist with maintaining support knowledge bases
Collaborate with senior team members to troubleshoot and resolve application and FIX-related issues
Work with agile development and support teams to learn how end-to-end trading solutions are delivered
Contribute ideas and feedback to improve systems, processes, and client experience
Participate in knowledge-sharing and training sessions within the OMS and trade support teams
Qualification
Required
Recent Graduates / Junior Level (0-3 years experience)
Basic ability to read and understand scripting or programming languages such as Python, Java, or Bash (academic or internship experience acceptable)
Understanding of Linux/Unix environments at a foundational level
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Interest in financial markets, electronic trading, and trading technology
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with both technical teams and business users (e.g., traders, operations)
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
Self-motivated and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
Recent graduate or early-career professional with a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
Preferred
Familiarity with pre-trade and post-trade processing is helpful but not required—training will be provided
Internship, coursework, or project experience in technology, finance, or systems support is a plus
Curious, collaborative, and interested in building a career in trade support, FIX onboarding, or financial technology
