The role involves obtaining and processing orders, providing high levels of service to customers, and resolving order issues.

Responsibilities
Receives and enters orders in an accurate and timely manner
Processes EDI orders
Provides price quotes to customers for existing bill of materials
Provides consistent and timely follow-up on customer inquiries and order status
Secures pricing from vendors, coordinates deliveries, processes returns and expedites deliveries when necessary
Utilizes product knowledge to provide service to the customer
Loads and maintains customer part numbers in the CMIR
Adheres to customer product standards
Assists and maintains relationships with customers and suppliers
Runs daily reports and resolves customer and order issues
Assists customers with billing issues
Assists with Emergency Response orders
Attends sales meetings and participates in training programs as required
May assist with sales meetings and trade shows as needed
Participates in the implementation and success of marketing plans and strategies
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or other designate
Qualification
Required
Technical ability to understand electrical systems
Working knowledge of PC for Windows, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), Internet, and Email
Preferred
Two-year business/trade degree preferred or the equivalent in work experience
Strong knowledge of electrical products and systems preferred
2+ years of prior electrical distribution experience preferred
Working knowledge of SAP software preferred
