This role involves applying engineering theory and principles to improve manufacturing processes, ensuring safety, quality, velocity, and cost targets are met.

Responsibilities
Serve as first responder for manufacturing issues on the factory floor (Safety, Quality, Velocity, Cost)
Study time, motion, methods, and speed involved in production to establish standard rates and improve efficiency
Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and formulas; confer with management to determine quality and reliability standards
Prepare charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, and machine utilization
Create and maintain standard work, process flow diagrams, PFMEAs, and control plans
Provide assembly line support for root cause analysis and corrective actions
Generate purchase requisitions, tool orders, and safe job procedures
Perform time studies and continuous improvement tasks
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 2+ years of experience
Master's degree in Engineering with 1+ years of experience
Associate's degree with 5+ years of experience OR HS Diploma with 8+ years of experience
Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing/Engineering Technology degree
Ability to observe safety risks in manufacturing processes
Perform common engineering computations
Determine root cause of issues effectively
Ability to make sketches and engineering drawings
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports
Previous experience with CAD or related engineering software
Strong communicator
Creativity and problem-solving ability
Team player, detail-oriented, analytical
Preferred
PINpoint programming
PLC training or experience
Robot programming and automation integration
Initiative and personal drive to help others
