Robotics Electrical Engineer

Persona AI is developing rugged, multi-purpose humanoid robots aimed at performing real work. The Robotics Electrical Engineer will have the opportunity to shape the design of these robots, collaborating closely with engineering teams to create and implement electrical architectures and systems.

Artificial Intelligence (AI)Robotics

Responsibilities

Work closely with the engineering team to conceptualize, specify, and implement electrical architectures for various robotic platforms to include robotic manipulators and humanoid robotic systems
Develop from scratch circuit designs and lay out schematics, PCBs, and wiring diagrams for robotic hardware
Fluently design bare-metal (non-Arduino IDE) embedded systems leveraging state of the art microcontrollers
Generate documentation for the designs, as well as block diagrams, test plans and procedures, and fabrication and assembly drawings
Collaborate with mechanical engineers to tightly package embedded systems
Collaborate with software engineers to integrate electrical components into complete robotic systems
Interface with external manufacturing teams to enhance design for test, manufacturing, and assembly
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in electrical systems, ensuring reliability and performance
Evaluate and select components and materials to meet project requirements
Conduct simulations and performance analyses to optimize system functionality
