The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services is one of the largest agencies in the state, responsible for the health and well-being of North Carolinians. They are seeking an Outpatient OTP Program Manager to provide direct clinical services, supervise counseling staff, and manage the operations of the WBJ outpatient OTP Clinic.

Responsibilities

Provide direct clinical services
Supervise counseling staff
Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the WBJ outpatient OTP Clinic
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary treatment team to identify and meet the clinical needs of patients seeking outpatient Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) and co-occurring mental health/substance use treatment
Maintain a caseload of clients and provide individual therapy, group therapy and medical records documentation

Substance abuse knowledgePsycho-pharmaceutical therapiesAdvanced therapeutic approachesLegalEthical guidelinesGoal-oriented treatment plansCrisis interventionGroup dynamicsFamily therapyTrauma-focused therapy

Required

Knowledge of the substance abuse addiction processes, including psychological and physical withdrawal
Knowledge of psycho-pharmaceutical therapies and drug interactions
Knowledge and practical application of advanced therapeutic approaches, group dynamics, crisis intervention, family and trauma-focused therapy
Knowledge regarding legal and ethical guidelines involved in behavioral health and must be knowledgeable about Joint Commission, MS, SAMHSA standards and survey process
Ability to formulate clear goal-oriented treatment plans
Credentialed as a Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) from a governing authority recognized by the NC Addictions Specialist Professional Practice Board to practice under the provisions of the North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Practice Act
