Responsibilities
Manage the company’s funding portfolio
Proficient in CRM and loan servicing platforms for updating loan records, documenting borrower interactions and tracking collection activity
Contact business owners via phone, email, and written correspondence to collect past-due payments
Review loan agreements, payment histories, and account documentation
Monitor accounts for compliance with agreed payment plans
Accurately document all collection activity in the loan management system
Escalate accounts when necessary for legal action or third-party collections
Ability to work with senior leadership
Qualification
Required
1–3+ years of experience in loan collections, credit & collections, or financial services
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
Professional, respectful communication style
Ability to handle difficult conversations while maintaining positive client relationships
High attention to detail and strong organizational skill
Experience working with financial data and loan documentation
Preferred
Experience with small business or commercial loans
