Responsibilities
Process and prepare invoices and payments (checks, EFTs, online payments)
Serve as a primary point of contact for vendor and payment inquiries
Reconcile accounts payable activity, vendor statements, and system reports
Review and code invoices and expense reports to appropriate accounts and cost centers
Manage payment schedules, discounts, tax verification, discrepancies, credits, and stop payments
Process employee expense reimbursements
Maintain accurate accounting ledgers and organized digital records
Coordinate bank-related activities related to payables
Assist with accounts receivable and support the Controller with special projects
Order office supplies, manage inventory, and handle administrative tasks
Provide internal and external customer support via phone, email, and messaging
Maintain confidentiality, collaborate effectively within a team, and perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in accounts payable/receivable or a similar accounting role
Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills
Excellent customer service and professional communication abilities
Ability to learn new systems and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Great Plains Dynamics, and QuickBooks Desktop preferred
