Helpdesk IT Support Engineer / Desktop Support Engineer
Numentica Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Helpdesk IT Support Engineer to provide daily end-user support for Windows desktops and laptops. This role involves troubleshooting, updates, installations, and general IT assistance for company employees, with Tier 3 issues escalated to specialized teams.
Responsibilities
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for Windows desktops, laptops, applications, and user accounts
Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and peripheral issues
Perform system updates, imaging, installations, and new hire setups
Maintain ticket documentation and escalate issues as needed
Support basic networking and VPN access
Manage IT equipment inventory
Qualification
Required
3+ years of Helpdesk or Desktop Support experience
Strong Windows 10/11 troubleshooting skills
Familiar with Active Directory and basic networking (DNS, DHCP, VPN)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
