Responsibilities
Define clear content themes for each priority audience and stage of the funnel
Ground themes in real buyer questions, objections, and decision moments
Conduct SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) research to inform content strategy
Identify high-intent keywords, emerging questions, and credible whitespace opportunities
Develop content assets that activate and nurture leads across the funnel, including educational, decision-support, and proof-oriented content
Ensure content is practical, credible, and clearly differentiated
Develop a lightweight organic LinkedIn strategy that reinforces Summus' point of view
Enable a small set of key employees to post thoughtfully and consistently
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism, Life Sciences, or a related field required; advanced degree a plus
3+ years of professional experience in Product Marketing, Go-To-Market, Sales Enablement, or a related role
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and precisely
Strong audience-centric instincts, knowing what different buyers need to hear and when
Comfortable translating complexity into simple, credible narratives
Highly collaborative, particularly with Product Marketing, Growth, and Sales
Bias toward execution, iteration, and learning through real-world use
Experience in healthcare, benefits, or another high-trust industry preferred, or strong motivation to build that depth quickly
AI-proficient or eager to use modern tools to move faster and work smarter
Proficiency with standard productivity and collaboration tools (Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office)
Experience using modern AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gamma, or similar) to accelerate messaging, content creation, and research
