Responsibilities

Play a vital role in division efforts to effectively meet grant program requirements and ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations
Assist with the application process for grants from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
Provide technical support to state and local agencies relating to implementation of various grant programs
Hands-on development of appropriate guidance materials
Host and present at meetings with stakeholders from other state departments and local government agencies
Provide technical assistance to grant subrecipients

Required

Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major
No specific type or amount of experience required for Departmental Analyst 9
One year of professional experience required for Departmental Analyst 10
Two years of professional experience required for Departmental Analyst P11, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service
Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school and the equivalent of at least two years of full-time active-duty experience at or above the E-6 level in the uniformed services may be substituted for the education requirement
Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school for Departmental Analyst (Departmental Trainee) 9
Four years of experience as an advanced 9-level worker in an ECP Group One classification
Three years of experience as an E9, E10, or E11-level worker in an ECP Group One classification
Two years of experience as an experienced level worker in an ECP Group One technician or paraprofessional classification
Two years of experience as a first-line supervisor in an ECP Group Three classification
One year of experience as a second-line supervisor in an ECP Group Three classification
College credits may be substituted on a proportional basis for up to one half of the required experience
