Responsibilities

Own the full sales cycle across a defined US territory:
Build pipeline through outbound prospecting (calls, email, LinkedIn, digital)
Run discovery calls and insight-led sales conversations
Deliver compelling product demos and presentations
Manage proposals and close subscription deals
Maintain a strong, forward-looking pipeline and accurate forecasts
Sell value, not features
Translate complex data and analytics into clear business outcomes
Connect FT Locations’ platforms to client strategy, investment goals, and risk reduction
Stay close to trends in economic development, FDI, and location strategy
Operate like a pro
Use CRM (Salesforce or similar) to track activity and performance
Collaborate with marketing, client success, and senior leadership
Contribute market insight, feedback, and ideas to the wider sales team

Required

Proven experience in B2B sales (SaaS, data, intelligence, consulting or economic development preferred)
Strong outbound prospecting capability
Confidence running discovery calls and demos
Experience using CRM tools to manage pipeline and performance
Curiosity, coachability, and a growth mindset

Preferred

Experience in economic development, investment promotion, site selection, or FDI
Comfortable selling data, research, or SaaS solutions
Motivated by helping economic development and government organisations make smarter, evidence-based decisions
Proven B2B SaaS or data sales experience
Strong outbound and pipeline-building skills
Able to translate software and technology into real-world outcomes for clients
Hungry, driven, and commercially ambitious
Unbothered by working from home
Comfortable working remotely
