Responsibilities

Oversees the recruitment and selection of all civilians and officers; serves as the primary hiring authority for all GG-14 and GG-15 billets
Provides oversight of the ETD budget, resource issues, POM planning, and synchronization of budget planning cycle in support of mission and travel funding
Provides oversight on the processing of all Special Access Program requests for all directorate members and liaises with external legal entities for matters involving information / data requests
Engages with executive and senior leaders within EOP, Defense Agencies, and other governmental organizations to develop partnerships and strategic relationships for the agency
Oversees the processing of all support agreements for the directorate, including oversight of directorate administrative, policy, safety, IT logistics, and HR programs

This position is covered under DoD Manual 8140 which will be subject to future Cyber Workforce requirements as defined by the Manual

Attention to Detail- experience reviewing my own information technology-related work or data and have been asked by others to review their work or data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency with standards
Customer Service- developing and maintaining relationships with customers, anticipating and assessing the current and future information technology needs of customers, and developing or identifying information technology products or services that are tailored to meet customer needs
Oral Communication- briefing senior-level management and IT staff on the status of information technology systems, projects, or daily operations, including the communication of complex technical information to a non-technical audience
Problem Solving- identifying alternatives to address unique, highly complex, or sensitive information technology-related issues. I have anticipated information technology-related problems and have identified and evaluated potential sources of information to generate alternative solutions
Experience in regulatory, administrative, policy development, and placement programs in personnel, intelligence, logistics, information systems, plans, and resource management
Candidates must describe how they meet the qualifying experience and/or selective placement factor(s) within the body of their resume. All qualifications must be met within 30 days after the closing date of the announcement
Combination of education and experience is not applicable for this position
Additionally, prior to reporting for duty the selectee must be found eligible for a DoD Top Secret security clearance with access to Special Compartmented Information (SCI) based upon an Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI), AND be approved for Presidential Support Duty in accordance with Department of Defense Directive 5210.55 (Yankee White - Category II, minimum)
