Project Engineer II - Aerospace/Aircraft Engine Controls

Responsibilities

Serve as design authority for Tempe (ATSS and Valve) parts
Support project execution and performance tracking
Assist with risk identification and mitigation
Communicate technical details with internal and external customers
Prepare and review technical documentation (test plans, procedures, reports)
Analyze test data and assess compliance with requirements
Interpret design drawings and regulatory standards
Support proposal development with resource and schedule estimates

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
2+ years of applied engineering experience
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status

Preferred

Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Self-motivated individuals who take initiative
Clear communication of technical concepts
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Interest in project management (cost, schedule, technical execution)
Experience in product development, process, or manufacturing
Commitment to meeting deadlines and deliverables
