Senior Financial Analyst
CAROLINA PRG is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to play a crucial role in driving their client’s financial evolution. This role focuses on process optimization, technology integration, and change management, collaborating across departments to enhance financial processes and support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
Process Analysis and Improvement: Assess current financial processes and workflows, identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. Develop and implement streamlined processes to enhance accuracy, reduce cycle times, and increase overall efficiency
Technology Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and implement finance-related technology solutions, including ERP systems, financial reporting tools, AI, and data analytics platforms. Ensure seamless integration of new technologies and systems to drive automation and data accuracy
Data Management: Oversee data collection, validation, and cleansing efforts to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial data. Utilize data analytics tools to extract actionable insights and support decision-making processes
Change Management: Lead change initiatives related to financial process improvements and technology implementations. Develop and execute change management plans, including communication strategies, training programs, and stakeholder engagement, to ensure successful adoption across the organization
Financial Analysis: Provide in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, including cost-benefit analysis, forecasting, and trend analysis. Present findings and recommendations to senior management to guide business strategies
Risk Management: Identify potential financial risks and compliance issues related to process changes and technology implementations. Develop mitigation strategies and controls to ensure a robust financial environment
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of processes, procedures, and system configurations. Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate progress, outcomes, and performance metrics to relevant stakeholders
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, IT, Operations, and Business Units, to understand their needs, gather requirements, and implement solutions that align with overall business objectives
Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies within finance and transformation. Continuously seek opportunities to optimize processes, enhance skills, and contribute to the overall growth of the finance transformation function
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or relevant certifications like CPA are preferred
Proven experience (3+ years) in finance or accounting
Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and advanced Excel skills
Familiarity with financial systems, ERP platforms, and data analytics tools
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver results on time
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across various levels of the organization
Change management expertise, including experience in leading and managing change initiatives
Strong attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset
Adaptability and a willingness to embrace and drive change in a fast-paced environment
