Business Dev Analyst

Nesco Resource is seeking a Business Development Analyst to develop and execute the product line strategy for Gorilla Glass, supporting sales growth and profitability. The role involves collaborating with various teams to define product offerings, manage product line profitability, and support new product development.

Responsibilities

Lead a cross-functional product team including Development, Product Engineering, Applications Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Sales
Develop and execute the product line plan in collaboration with cross-functional partners
Own the product roadmap from concept through commercialization and lifecycle management
Manage product line profitability, including full P&L ownership
Manage product obsolescence processes to maximize value through end-of-life
Develop and articulate compelling value propositions to improve margins and enable new or enhanced selling opportunities
Support development and execution of product pricing strategies
Provide sales enablement tools including positioning statements, value proposition presentations, and other customer-facing materials
Understand downstream market requirements and assess competitive threats and market dynamics
Partner with Program Management to develop and launch new products
Evaluate special or custom product requests by developing detailed business cases, including P&L and balance sheet impacts
Determine feasibility, pricing, and commercialization requirements for new opportunities
Partner with Manufacturing and Sales to identify opportunities for cost reduction and complexity reduction at manufacturing sites and customer locations
Work with Legal and Sales to define contractual terms and participate in supply agreement approvals
Collaborate with Marketing Communications on external messaging, including product collateral, trade shows, conferences, press releases, web content, and social media

Required

Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Advanced analytical skills with experience driving data-driven decisions
Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility and manage complex business relationships
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Highly organized, process-oriented, and systematic problem solver
Self-starter with the ability to fully own complex strategic initiatives with limited supervision
Demonstrated leadership presence and ability to influence senior management
Potential to grow into broader commercial leadership roles
Bachelor's degree in Science or Business with a strong analytical foundation and technical learning aptitude
Minimum of 3 years of experience in product line management, marketing, manufacturing, or engineering within an engineering-based, customer-focused environment
Demonstrated success leading projects and cross-functional teams

Preferred

MBA or equivalent demonstrated business experience
Financial analysis and accounting experience
