This role is critical in overseeing the monthly close, financial reporting, and core accounting operations within a high-growth, acquisition-driven environment.

Responsibilities
Manage and support the monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes
Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, supporting schedules, and related documentation
Review month-end and quarter-end account reconciliations and workpapers
Oversee fixed asset accounting, including de novo activity and acquisition-related transactions
Support financial reporting and analysis using Excel and business intelligence tools
Coordinate with external tax advisors and support tax compliance and reporting processes
Assist with year-end audit planning, preparation, and execution
Supervise, coach, and develop three (3) direct reports
Drive continuous process improvements and support ad hoc projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 1+ year of people management experience, can include mentorship
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting requirements
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Preferred
Experience working in a multi-entity, acquisition-driven, or high-growth environment
Experience supporting tax compliance and related processes
Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems
CPA or CPA-eligible strongly preferred
