Responsibilities

Become part of Northrop Grumman’s Salt Lake City machine shop team

Qualification

MachiningManual mill experienceLathe experienceBlueprint readingGD&TGeometric calculations

Required

Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from a technical college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2026
Be majoring in Machining or equivalent
Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2026
Be available to work part-time (20 hours per week) year-round starting in the Summer 2026
Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
The ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
Have manual mill and lathe experience
Have basic blueprint reading experience

Preferred

Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
Be able to read GD&T
Be able to perform geometric calculations
