Mid LevelVLink Inc is seeking a FHIR Specialist to contribute to strategic FHIR specific projects and build agency-level readiness for public health FHIR solutions. The role involves working on interoperability standards and various informatics projects, including system integration and public health reporting.

Responsibilities
Contributing significantly to strategic FHIR specific projects, building agency-level readiness and capacity to adopt public health FHIR solutions, development of a FHIR roadmap, supporting HL7 FHIR interoperability projects such as HL7 Helios FHIR Accelerator focus areas
As a member of the Office of Informatics and Analytics, this individual will get exposure and experience in the use and development of interoperability standards, like HL7, and will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of informatics projects including system integration, system interoperability, electronic health record implementation, and specific public health reporting projects
This position may require some in-state and possible out-of-state travel
There is also the potential for presentation and public speaking opportunities
Core Informatics staff will assist with emergency response situations when necessary
Qualification
Required
Contributing significantly to strategic FHIR specific projects
Building agency-level readiness and capacity to adopt public health FHIR solutions
Development of a FHIR roadmap
Supporting HL7 FHIR interoperability projects such as HL7 Helios FHIR Accelerator focus areas
Exposure and experience in the use and development of interoperability standards, like HL7
Opportunity to work on a wide range of informatics projects including system integration, system interoperability, electronic health record implementation, and specific public health reporting projects
Ability to travel in-state and possibly out-of-state
Potential for presentation and public speaking opportunities
Assistance with emergency response situations when necessary
