Responsibilities
Technical Expertise: Strong background in system administration, networking, storage (e.g., NetApp), virtualization, and cloud platforms
Automation Tools: Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell), Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Splunk
Methodologies: Experience with DevOps, Agile, ITIL frameworks, CI/CD, and incident/change management
Soft Skills: Problem-solving, communication, leadership, and ability to work under pressure
Design & Build: Architect and implement scalable IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Operations & Maintenance: Manage day-to-day operations, performance tuning, patching, upgrades, and capacity planning for physical and virtual systems
Automation: Develop scripts and use Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools to streamline deployments and operations
Monitoring & Support: Monitor systems for issues, provide advanced technical support, troubleshoot complex problems, and conduct root cause analysis
Security & Compliance: Implement security protocols, manage access, and ensure infrastructure adherence to regulatory standards and best practices
Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with development, security, and business teams to integrate solutions and support new product launches
Disaster Recovery: Develop, test, and maintain data backup and disaster recovery strategies
Qualification
Required
