Auto Collision Repair Accountant
Auto Collision Group is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Auto Collision Repair Accountant to join their finance team. This role involves managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the financial operations of collision repair facilities.

Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and other regulatory standards
Perform general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently using software such as QuickBooks
Conduct bank reconciliations and cash flow analysis to monitor liquidity and financial health
Oversee journal entries, accrual accounting, and double-entry bookkeeping to maintain precise records
Support regulatory reporting requirements and assist with auditing processes to ensure compliance
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities for the organization
Maintain detailed documentation of financial transactions and prepare comprehensive financial reports for management review
Ensure adherence to SOX compliance standards and internal controls
Mentor junior accounting staff or interns as needed to foster professional development within the team
Qualification
Required
Detail-oriented and experienced Auto Collision Repair Accountant
Strong background in various accounting disciplines, including corporate, governmental, and non-profit accounting
Proficiency in multiple accounting software platforms
Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and other regulatory standards
Perform general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently using software such as QuickBooks
Conduct bank reconciliations and cash flow analysis to monitor liquidity and financial health
Oversee journal entries, accrual accounting, and double-entry bookkeeping to maintain precise records

Strong knowledge of GAAP, regulatory reporting, and corporate finance principles
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms
Expertise in financial report writing, interpretation of financial statements, and financial analysis techniques
Solid understanding of technical accounting concepts including accruals, debits & credits, journal entries, and account reconciliation
Familiarity with tax regulations and tax experience related to corporate or non-profit entities
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining accurate records
Ability to mentor team members and communicate complex financial concepts clearly
Auto body Repair: 3 years (Required)
Preferred
Experience with governmental accounting, non-profit accounting, or securities law is a plus
