Responsibilities
Adhere to all safety/housekeeping requirements within a plant quality lab setting
Performance of various quality testing tasks in factory environment
Must be willing and able to learn testing duties from instruction and self study, including the ability to recognize and respond to test trends
Possess basic communication and problem solving skills
Recording of quality data and other results in the manner required
Expected to take an active role in all plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives as required by supervision
Adaptable to scheduling requirements including shiftwork, assignment of overtime, working weekends, etc. where applicable
Qualification
Required
Able to work in a manufacturing lab setting in a safe manner and follow all plant safety and housekeeping rules
Ability to learn to operate and troubleshoot lab testing equipment
Ability to interpret verbal and written work instructions
Ability to apply basic computer skills required for data entry and reporting
Possess ability to become proficient at performing tests and taking measurements as needed to verify product is within specifications
Effective teamwork and communication skills needed with all co-workers
Maintain regular and predictable attendance
