New GradPenn State University is seeking a part-time undergraduate student Cartographer to work on custom mapping projects in the GeoGraphics Laboratory. The successful candidate will assist with custom cartographic design projects, prepare spatial data, and supervise undergraduate lab assistants.

Responsibilities
Assist with custom cartographic design projects for internal university and external community clients
Identify and prepare spatial data for cartographic projects
Meet with cartography clients to define project scope and to iteratively design cartographic products
Supervise and guide cartography project work in progress by undergraduate lab assistants
Other administrative tasks as assigned/needed to support cartographic design and research in the GeoGraphics Lab
Qualification
Required
Current undergraduate student enrolled at Penn State
Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software (e.g. ArcGIS Pro)
Experience with Graphic Design software (e.g. Adobe Illustrator)
