Director, Finance Transformation

Responsibilities
Collaborate cross functionally to develop a strategic roadmap for process improvement in line with other company-wide initiatives
Lead the end-to-end execution of multiple high-impact, cross-functional finance transformation programs and projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget
Own delivery and project oversight ensuring successful execution of finance transformation initiatives
Act as a trusted advisor, translating complex technical concepts into clear, impactful messages for diverse audiences
Ensure transactions are recorded in conformity with U.S. generally accepted accounting principles and internal controls
Coordinate the overall design and execution of the internal control environment, in conjunction with global process owners
Coordinate the testing of the internal control environment, in conjunction with internal and external auditors
Support audit projects and issue remediation with control owners, as needed
Drive compliance reporting to inform senior management on current state of control environment
Implement a risk-based approach to internal controls, driving ongoing internal control rationalization
Drive the continuous standardization of our finance operating model, in collaboration with global process owners, developing standard operating procedures, desktop aids, and other similar tools
Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies to ensure seamless adoption of new processes, tools, and technologies across global finance teams
Lead deep-dive analyses of current financial operations to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for end to end process optimization, leveraging lean principles
Challenge the status quo and evaluate alternative approaches to achieve required outcomes
Proactively identify emerging trends, technologies (e.g., AI, RPA), and best practices to inform the future state of Finance, ensuring a data-driven culture
Drive the adoption and integration of emerging technologies such as AI, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and advanced ERP systems to drive efficiency and enable better data-driven decision making
Coordinate with internal and external AI teams to implement identified tools
Continuously generate and champion new ideas and programs, pushing the art of the possible, to build a robust pipeline of transformation opportunities
Qualification
Required
Minimum Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 8 years accounting experience including 4 years in a leadership role
Organization, analytical, communication, and leadership skills
Innovative and able to thrive in a fast paced environment while managing multiple priorities
Strong investigation and follow-up skills
Ability to build strong and trusting relationships across the team
Ability to analyze data from multiple sources
Ability to direct the work of others
Preferred
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
SAP system experience (S4 Hana experience preferred)
AI and Automation use case experience
