Parts Counterperson - Land Rover Southwest Houston

The Parts Counterperson will provide exceptional service at the parts counter, assisting customers with inquiries and processing orders while ensuring optimal inventory levels and collaborating with vendors.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers at the parts counter, addressing inquiries, and offering expert advice on parts selection
Handle phone inquiries and provide information on parts availability, pricing, and compatibility
Efficiently and accurately process parts orders, ensuring timely delivery to customers and technicians
Collaborate with vendors and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing parts shipments
Monitor and maintain adequate levels of inventory to meet customer demand
Conduct regular stock checks, reconcile discrepancies, and update inventory records in the dealership's system
Utilize technical knowledge to assist customers and service technicians in identifying the correct parts for repairs and maintenance
Stay informed about new products & advancements in automotive parts
Handle cash and process payments accurately, providing customers with receipts for transactions
Collaborate with the service and sales departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of parts orders

Required

1+ years of experience in automotive dealership parts department
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and provide excellent assistance
Knowledge of automotive parts and their applications
Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Must be authorized to work in the USA
Must be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements: Drug testing, background check, MVR

Preferred

Previous Jaguar Land Rover or luxury automotive brand experience
