Responsibilities
Deeply Understand Customer Data Migration Needs: Conduct detailed research and analysis to understand customer requirements, pain points, and use cases specifically related to migrating diverse data types, ensuring data integrity, performance, and completeness during and after migration. This includes understanding challenges like post-migration validation
Contribute to Product Strategy & Roadmap: Contribute to the strategy and roadmap for data migration capabilities, ensuring alignment with the overall migration product vision and customer needs. For example, defining features and processes that ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of migrated data, including defining validation rules, diagnostic mechanisms, and reporting capabilities
Define Product Requirements: Translate customer needs and strategic direction into clear, concise, and detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for data migration features. This involves close collaboration with engineering, design, and our Professional Service teams
Support Product Development & Prioritization: Work day-to-day with engineering teams to guide the development of data migration and validation features, clarify requirements, answer questions, and assist in prioritizing tasks within your feature areas to ensure timely delivery and quality
Understand Ecosystem for Data: Learn and understand how data migration and validation features fit into the broader ecosystem migration (ETL pipelines, database code, consuming applications), recognizing dependencies and ensuring our offerings support a holistic migration process
Analyze Feature Performance: Monitor and analyze usage data, customer feedback, and success metrics specifically for data migration and validation features to identify areas for improvement, inform future iterations, and demonstrate the value delivered
Qualification
Required
Extensive experience (10+ years) building and delivering enterprise products
Strong familiarity with data ecosystems (databases, analytics, data engineering, ETL)
Experience building and delivering tools or platforms for data engineers or developers
Proven experience delivering GenAI products, particularly those involving AI-powered code translation, developer co-pilots, or complex semantic validation
