Field Service Technician II

Morris & Associates is an employee-owned global provider of process cooling solutions. They are seeking a Field Service Technician II who will travel nationwide to install, service, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment while building strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

Travel to customer sites nationwide to install, service, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment
Diagnose and resolve issues with 3-phase motor control systems, refrigeration valves, VFDs, pumps, solenoids, compressors, and more
Weld stainless steel and aluminum (pressure vessel certification a plus!)
Provide on-site technical support and guidance to customers and junior technicians
Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and job layouts
File reports, document service, and communicate updates using computers and mobile devices
Work with autonomy, confidence, and urgency - especially when responding to unexpected equipment issues
Travel domestically and possibly internationally (passport required or must be willing to obtain)

Required

3+ years of field service or technical equipment experience
Comfortable working with electrical systems, motors, VFDs, and mechanical components
Welding experience (especially with stainless steel & aluminum)
Solid troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills
Professionalism and confidence working directly with customers
Clean driving record
Able to pass a background check and drug screen
Valid passport (or able to obtain)

Preferred

Pressure vessel certification a plus!
