Mid, Senior LevelAerotek is a staffing agency that connects skilled trades workers with employers. They are seeking a Traveling Construction Superintendent responsible for scheduling equipment, coordinating deliveries, overseeing installations, and managing daily operations at construction sites.

Responsibilities
Schedule equipment ordering with the supply chain
Coordinate equipment delivery with farm managers
Coordinate contractor equipment installation
Participate in pre-construction planning
Communicate progress, issues, and solutions to the supervisor throughout the project
Manage daily operations of sub-contract electricians and equipment installers
Ensure appropriate materials are at the project site in a timely manner to meet project deadlines
Communicate and resolve shipping schedules/conflicts with the supply chain manager
Perform and complete final inspection documentation
Communicate with capital planning and construction manager
Qualification
Required
Experience in construction supervision and as a construction superintendent
Knowledge of commercial construction and subcontractor management
Understanding of general construction processes, accounting systems, construction phases, materials, and vendors
Possess high-level interpersonal skills to handle sensitive information
Previous construction-related experience and/or education related to the construction field
Capability to operate a company vehicle or qualify for mileage reimbursement, contingent upon a satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR) review
