Lead architecture and design initiatives for mainframe and hybrid-platform solutions

Develop, optimize, and maintain core mainframe applications

Support production (50%) and drive new feature development (50%)

Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of high-volume systems

Mentor junior engineers and influence technical direction

Document architecture, integrations, and modernization plans

Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure system resilience

10+ years of hands-on mainframe (COBOL) experience

Experience in iterative SDLC / Agile environments

Principal-level expertise with strong ownership and mentorship capabilities
