Responsibilities
Design, build, and operate robust end-to-end ETL/ELT data pipelines
Architect, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade data warehouse solutions
Own ongoing maintenance, performance optimization, and enhancements of data pipelines and warehouse assets
Build and manage data ingestion from diverse sources, including databases, streaming systems, and external web APIs
Integrate data to and from the data warehouse into downstream and third-party tools to make data actionable
Ensure data quality, reliability, and observability through automated testing and monitoring
Implement CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure-as-code practices for data pipelines and workflows
Partner with Data Science, Product, and Business Analytics teams to define requirements and deliver product roadmap features
Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and business users to design scalable data solutions
Research and evaluate new technologies and drive continuous improvements to the data platform
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade data warehouse solutions supporting structured and unstructured data
Strong proficiency in building and maintaining data pipelines and transformations using tools such as Spark, Snowpark, dbt, or similar
Experience integrating data via web APIs and across internal and external systems
Proficiency in Python, Java, or another modern programming language
Experience with AWS or other cloud platform
Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow, AWS Step Functions, or Snowflake Tasks
Strong understanding of data warehouse architecture, modeling, and best practices
Strong SQL skills, including DDL and DML
Preferred
Familiarity with data science and machine learning technologies
Understanding of data security, governance, access controls, and RBAC
