Responsibilities
Take the next step in your technical career as a Civil Structural Engineer
Provide expertise in pressure vessels, piping, structures, and materials
Emphasize multidiscipline problem-solving and collaboration to solve design and equipment reliability problems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering or closely related discipline
5+ years' civil and structural experience in the refining, petrochemical or power generation industries with: Foundation and structural design experience, Knowledge of plant layout and operations, Foundation / reinforced concrete design, Experience working with refinery/plant equipment (tanks, plate structures, boilers, stacks, tabletop structures, fired heater incasing, etc.)
Preferred
Professional and/or Structural Engineering License
Experience with the application of industry codes and standards such as ASCE 7, AISC, ACI
Experience with field troubleshooting, repairs and system walk-downs and the ability to travel to customer sites
Experience with turnaround support, planning & execution
Experience with the commercial software AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD.Pro, Risa, or SAP2000
Strong grasp of engineering fundamentals and mechanics
Self-motivated with strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
