Responsibilities

Support the development and execution of social media content and campaigns
Help the team with community management across its platforms
Work on paid promotions and executive thought leadership
Collaborate with other functions such as brand, talent acquisition, external, and analytics
Collaborate with team members from Corning’s five Market Access Platforms

Required

The candidate is required to be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising (or similar field) going into their junior year or senior year. Candidates may also be enrolled in a master's program to which they will return in the Fall
Must be available for 10 weeks during Summer 2026 (May 27th – July 31st, 2026) with a graduation date of December 2026 or later
Be interested in working for Corning, Inc after graduation, if presented with a full-time job opportunity
Be willing to work at the posted job location
Knowledge and experience across the social media platforms
A keen eye for creating graphics and visuals to support strategic narratives
Mobile video production and editing experience
Ability to spot and highlight social trends to leverage for Corning's content
Excellent writing skills and high attention to detail
Strong research and analytical skills
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently
Ability to work comfortably across all levels of an organization, including with c-suite leadership
Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing project requirements
Ability to handle many tasks, assess priorities, and meet deadlines
Ability to work as part of a collaborative team as well as competency to work independently and lead agreed upon action plans with minimal supervision
