Drafting plan documents, amendments, summary plan descriptions, and related agreements
Representing clients in IRS audits and DOL investigations
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience as an attorney
Significant experience advising employers on employee benefits matters
Experience in the design, implementation, and compliance of qualified and non-qualified retirement plans
Familiarity with ERISA and the Internal Revenue Code
Experience in ESOP transactions
Experience representing clients in IRS audits and DOL investigations
Strong drafting skills for plan documents, amendments, summary plan descriptions, and related agreements
Strong interpersonal skills
Highly organized
Capable of managing multiple client matters simultaneously
Preferred
Relocation to the Des Moines Metro area
Experience with partially remote arrangements based on the candidate's experience and location
