Financial Reporting Analyst
The Oklahoma Indigent Defense System is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to support the Central Accounting and Reporting team. The role involves preparing the State’s Annual Comprehensive Financial Report and ensuring compliance by reviewing financial entries and documents submitted by agencies.

Responsibilities
Contributes to the preparation of the State’s Annual Comprehensive Financial Report
Communicates with agencies to obtain financial information
Instructs and assists agencies with the completion of GAAP conversion packages
Revises and updates state agency conversion packages annually, as needed
Contributes to the review and analysis of the State's accounting policies and procedure and makes recommendations for appropriate changes
Serves as a liaison to State Auditor & Inspector agency personnel
Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports submitted by agencies to ensure compliance
Ad hoc projects, analyses, and reporting as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
Preferred
CPA certification
CPA candidate
Governmental accounting experience, understanding of governmental accounting standards board (GASB), and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) for governments
Experience working with general ledger and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
