Responsibilities
Provides technical and design services in support of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and telecommunication systems for design projects as part of a multi-discipline project team to produce electrical design/construction drawings and specifications for institutional, commercial and industrial facilities
You will be responsible for completing design tasks within budget and on schedule and communicating with Project Manager, Sr. Electrical Engineer and design team to complete work efficiently
Qualification
Required
Must have at least 7+ years of experience in drafting and a Vocational certificate or two year degree in Engineering, or related field
Revit software IS required
More process than results-oriented individual with strong visual and technical skills
Willing communicator and able to ask questions when necessary
Enjoys working alone when required but can work effectively on a project team
Able to complete work consistently with flexibility to accommodate varying project demands
Must maintain a high level of precision and accuracy and be methodical in approach to work
Must be able to climb ladders and perform field survey duties in and around the Charlotte area within a 2-3 hour radius
Must have a level of acceptance and persuasiveness required to effectively deal with other members of the project team
Requires a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle and criminal record
