Develop Python scripts to efficiently parse, download, and process large web‑based datasets
Write SQL queries to clean, transform, and prepare data for downstream use
Build high‑quality, maintainable, production‑ready Python code
Troubleshoot and debug issues across data processing workflows
Contribute to code reviews and engineering best practices
Ensure performance, reliability, and quality across applications
Produce clear, accurate documentation
Collaborate with cross‑functional partners in engineering and research
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
6+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong proficiency in Python
Solid experience writing SQL
Experience with data pipelines or data processing workflows
Comfort working in Linux environments and writing shell scripts
Strong problem‑solving skills and high attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Experience contributing to large‑scale software projects
Preferred
Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience with web scraping or processing large datasets
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Exposure to DevOps tooling or concepts
Deep experience data analytics or machine learning concepts
