Responsibilities
Attend board meetings and provide legal recommendations
Advise public agency clients on a wide range of legal matters, including municipal law and environmental regulations
Research and draft contracts, ordinances, resolutions, and legal opinions
Support public agency staff and elected officials with legal guidance
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in public law, including knowledge of General Plan and Housing Element Law, Density Bonus Law, and California Environmental Quality Act
Experience with SEQUA related to environmental law
Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school
Active California Bar membership
Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
Preferred
Experience representing public entities or working in the public sector
