Responsibilities
You will interpret technical drawings, engineering specifications, and manufacturing blueprints
Perform inspections of incoming materials to verify compliance with specifications through visual checks and measurement testing
Conduct in‑process inspections of machined components, sheet metal parts, and welded assemblies to ensure conformance with drawings and process requirements
Approve or reject finished goods based on specification compliance; coordinate and verify rework activities when necessary
You will document all inspection results in accordance with internal procedures and ensure quality data is entered into designated systems accurately and on time
Maintain, calibrate, and monitor quality and measurement equipment to ensure reliable performance
Support quality and continuous improvement initiatives by completing assignments aligned with department and business unit goals
Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational procedures at all times
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in CMM operation and programming
Proficiency with SAP, Microsoft Excel, and reporting tools
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Thorough knowledge of the metric system and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
Ability to lift, move, and position components up to 40 lbs. for visual and dimensional inspection, with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to visually inspect parts and equipment using standard inspection tools and perform detailed visual inspections for extended periods as required
Ability to identify defects and irregularities during inspection tasks
Preferred
Certifications in ASQ Quality Inspection and ISO 9001
