Growth Marketing Manager

Textio is bringing a new product to market and is seeking a high-agency Growth Marketer with product-led growth experience. In this role, you will partner with the VP of marketing to develop and implement creative marketing strategies that drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute weekly marketing experiments across various channels (content marketing, email marketing, social media, paid ads, SEO/AEO, etc.) to increase user acquisition, engagement, and retention
Work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to shape growth features (onboarding flows, paywalls, prompts, upgrades)
Proactively analyze and report on campaign performance, using data-driven insights to optimize and improve future efforts
Monitor industry trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement
Write compelling, shareable content that resonates with our target audiences
Test and iterate on different messaging, targeting, and creative approaches to drive growth and improve user experience
Continuously optimize our website and landing pages for conversion, SEO, and user engagement
Bring customer and product usage insights into marketing strategy
Help define what 'good' looks like for growth metrics at this stage

Required

5+ years in growth marketing, must have experience with PLG and freemium models
Proven track record of creating and executing successful growth marketing campaigns across various channels
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams
In-depth knowledge of SEO/AEO, SEM, social media platforms, and marketing analytics tools
A self-starter mentality and a strong desire to learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact
A track record of running experiments end-to-end—not just executing tactics
Comfort working with imperfect data and evolving infrastructure
Strong analytical thinking (you can answer 'so what?' after the numbers)

Preferred

Experience with recruiting and talent acquisition communities and an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities they face
Familiarity with tools like PostHog, HubSpot, Webflow, etc., and the ability to recommend cost-conscious marketing tools needed for your role
