HCLTech is seeking a highly experienced Omnichannel Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead strategy, process optimization, and solution delivery across digital and in-store customer journeys. Responsibilities

Assess and map current‑state processes across customer and business workflows
Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities using data‑driven analysis
Design future‑state omnichannel processes to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and enhance customer outcomes across digital, store, and fulfillment touchpoints
Champion data governance best practices to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting platforms
Partner closely with client teams to understand business objectives, pain points, and KPIs
Facilitate workshops, interviews, and design sessions to co‑create omnichannel solutions
Provide consultative guidance to leadership on process governance, change readiness, and success metrics for omnichannel transformation
Define and document KPI requirements, reporting needs, and business rules supporting omnichannel initiatives
Collaborate with BI and technology teams to design and maintain dashboards (Power BI, Tableau) that visualize omnichannel performance and customer behavior
Develop training materials and deliver learning sessions to ensure business proficiency with new dashboards, tools, and insights
Conduct deep‑dive analyses to interpret trends, diagnose root causes, and convert insights into actionable business recommendations
Establish frameworks and metrics to measure ongoing process performance
Conduct periodic audits to evaluate alignment with business goals and customer needs
Create best practices, reusable models, and accelerators for ongoing process improvement initiatives

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Business, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
15+ years of retail industry experience, with a deep understanding of omnichannel operations (e‑commerce, store operations, fulfillment, unified commerce)
Proven expertise with omnichannel platforms and domains including Ecommerce Platforms, OMS, CDP, Loyalty Systems, Analytics, Product Catalog, and Customer Data ecosystems
Strong understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain processes: product development, sourcing, PO management, merchandising, distribution, and global logistics
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Product, Data, and Engineering teams to support omnichannel and supply chain technology strategy
Experience providing operational support for enterprise retail applications (incident management, monitoring, performance optimization)
Expertise in business process analysis, identifying automation opportunities, and driving digital transformation
Ability to interpret supply chain KPIs (inventory accuracy, lead times, order cycle times, transportation cost, etc.) to guide decision‑making
Exceptional communication skills for bridging business and technology teams and influencing executive stakeholders
Hands‑on experience with agile practices —sprint planning, backlog refinement, release planning, feature definition
Strong facilitation skills for cross‑functional workshops and process design sessions
Proficiency in reporting and analytics (dashboard creation, KPI visualization, storytelling with data)

Preferred

Experience in enterprise retail transformation initiatives
Familiarity with customer journey orchestration and personalization platforms
Certifications in Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, or relevant practice areas
