Director of HRIS

AB Staffing Corporation is seeking a Director of HRIS to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of HR, Payroll, and Master Data Management workstreams within an Oracle HCM ERP implementation. This role will oversee cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment and transformation of HR and Payroll processes.

Responsibilities

Evaluate, redesign, and optimize HR and Payroll processes, system configurations, workflows, roles, and organizational hierarchies to align with Oracle HCM capabilities
Lead transformation efforts across core HR and Payroll functions, including: Personal Information & Position Management, Time & Attendance and Certified Payroll, State & Local Regulatory Compliance, Training Management, Vacation & Leave Administration, Benefits Administration & Management, Compensation Administration, Job Costing, HRIS Reporting, Employee Onboarding
Define and execute the MDM strategy for HR and Payroll master data (e.g., employee, position, organizational structures)
Establish data ownership, stewardship models, and governance standards to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across all business units
Lead the design, validation, and integration of MDM hierarchies with Oracle HCM and downstream systems
Oversee data cleansing, mapping, migration, and validation of HR/Payroll and master data from legacy systems into Oracle HCM
Partner with technical teams to validate migration scripts, reconcile migrated data, and ensure reporting accuracy post-migration
Coordinate closely with UAT teams to support data quality assurance throughout the testing lifecycle
Serve as the primary liaison between HR/Payroll stakeholders and technical implementation teams
Translate business requirements into system design, configuration, and functional specifications
Partner with HR leadership to ensure alignment with financial objectives, compliance standards, and operational goals
Identify risks related to HR/Payroll reporting, compliance, and master data quality
Establish controls and mitigation strategies to ensure audit readiness and SOX compliance
Lead and support HR/Payroll UAT activities to ensure successful execution of core processes and system functionality

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
7–10 years of Oracle HCM experience, including multiple full lifecycle ERP implementations
7–10 years of experience in HR/Payroll systems and Master Data Management
Deep expertise across core HR and Payroll processes
Strong understanding of data governance, compliance, and regulatory standards
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities

Preferred

Construction industry experience and relevant certifications preferred
