Tax Manager
Michels Corporation is dedicated to improving America’s infrastructure and is seeking a Tax Manager to oversee tax compliance, reporting, and planning functions. This role involves ensuring accurate tax filings, managing audits, and collaborating with stakeholders to maintain compliance with tax regulations.

Responsibilities
Oversees the organization’s tax compliance, reporting, and planning functions
Ensures accurate and timely tax filings
Supports tax provision processes
Manages audits
Contributes to tax planning strategies
Collaborates closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors to maintain compliance with all applicable tax regulations while mitigating tax risk
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field & 7+ years of experience or an equivalent combination
Hands-on experience with S corporation and flow-through entity taxation
Expertise in ASC 740 tax accounting, multi-entity structuring, and closely held business taxation
Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record as determined by Michels Review Team
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
CPA, JD, or master's degree in taxation
Ability to balance tax optimization with long-term family and business governance
