Responsibilities

Conducting internal investigations and managing the internal investigations docket
Coordinating responses to inquiries from government regulators
Providing advice to business partners on government investigations
Working on teams to develop and execute litigation strategy and manage outside counsel for civil and criminal litigation matters
Conducting compliance exit interviews
Managing departmental metrics and leading special projects
Participating enthusiastically in the life of the JLD and JLD committees

Required

J.D. degree from an accredited law school
Must be admitted to practice and in good standing in at least one jurisdiction in the United States
A minimum of 10 years of investigations and general litigation experience, including experience responding to government subpoenas, conducting internal investigations, managing discovery, and handling motions practice
Demonstrated excellence in written work product, matter management and organization, to include the ability to accurately assess and triage risks, prioritize accordingly, and effectively drive matters to completion
Travel up to 10% may be required
Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to present complex ideas clearly and succinctly to internal stakeholders and senior-level audiences
Aptitude for establishing a collaborative working relationship with JLD teammates and business clients
Team-oriented attitude with a focus on support and continuous improvement
Drive to achieve priorities through accountability, ownership, and service excellence
Ability to leverage data, information, and resources to solve problems, remove barriers, and make decisions

Preferred

Experience working at a national or regional firm is preferred
Experience with the False Claims Act and/or the Anti-Kickback Statute is preferred
