Responsibilities
Develop cutting-edge products for military, governmental, and commercial customers
Drive products from conception to production including product ideation, research, laboratory/prototype builds, experimental testing, and design for manufacture
Lead individual projects and research
Investigate new technologies based on creativity and interest
Write proposals for new ideas, perform analytical calculations, and conduct computational simulations (CFD and FEA)
Build and test in the laboratory, and interface directly with customers
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience
Hands-on laboratory test experience
US Citizenship required due to strict ITAR regulations
GPA not less than 3.3 for all degrees
Solid understanding of heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics
Experience with data acquisition systems including temperature, pressure, flow, and other sensors
CFD/FEA modeling experience
Preferred
PhD ME preferred, will consider MSME candidates
LabVIEW preferred
CFD/FEA modeling (ANSYS/FLUENT) experience is a plus
