Responsibilities
Process investment transactions, including coordinating all documents for completion & execution by entering transactions in custodian’s system. Coordinate related accounting and bank entries as needed
Process stakeholders’ requests for deposits/withdrawals, ensuring compliance with charters, spending rules, and proper authorization, as well respond to customer inquiries. Prepare related accounting entries for Parish Financial Services (PFS)
Assist in monthly/quarterly processes including investment reconciliations, sub-plan allocation reporting, restricted fund analysis and prepare deliverables for Finance Council and Investment Committee meetings as well as CEST Board meetings. Prepare cashflow/cash projection for various stakeholders and provide recommendations if adjustments are needed
Prepare investment accounting package for external auditors and assist with annual tax reporting
Ensure and maintain effective internal controls over investment operations, including maintaining investment documentation to support appropriate accounting/audit
Qualification
Required
1-3 years' experience in banking, corporate finance/treasury or accounting, with solid understanding of investments, banking and finance
Undergraduate degree in Finance/Accounting/Business
Working knowledge of banking software and Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel
Track record of setting priorities in complex environment while meeting deadlines as well as larger team goals and objectives
Very strong customer service skills along with strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
CPA and/or MBA a plus
Familiarity with Northern Trust's Passport system a plus
