Responsibilities
Setup and run Swiss CNC Screw machines to maintain high-quality, tight tolerance machined parts, including changing/editing programming and tooling
Monitor multiple Swiss CNC machines during production
Document actions by completing production and quality logs
Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
Perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment following manufacturer's guidelines
Provide feedback and suggestions to management for continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Proficiency with Swiss Lathe, CNC Lathe, and CNC Program Editing
Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments
Good mechanical skills and inclination
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
Skilled communicator capable of working in a team environment
Minimum 5 years' experience setting up and operating multi-Axis (Swiss Lathe) CNC Screw Machine
Preferred
2-year technical degree or apprenticeship certificate, or equivalent work experience
Experience with ISO-9001 and/or AS-9100 certification environments is a plus
Strong leadership potential is highly desirable
Ability to read, edit, and change NC code (G&M code)
Experience with work order software
