They are seeking a Director of Value Creation & M&A Integration to lead the post-acquisition lifecycle and ensure effective integration of newly acquired businesses while implementing value creation initiatives across the portfolio.

Responsibilities

Lead and project-manage the end-to-end integration of newly acquired businesses, ensuring alignment with the company’s operating model, systems, and cultural standards
Partner with senior leadership during pre-close diligence to assess integration complexity, operational risks, and synergy opportunities across people, processes, and systems
Identify, prioritize, and execute post-close value creation initiatives focused on operational efficiency, scalability, and margin improvement
Develop, maintain, and continuously refine integration and value creation playbooks, documenting best practices, timelines, ownership, and success metrics
Serve as the primary post-close project manager, driving execution of 30/60/90-day integration milestones across functional areas
Proactively monitor progress, flag risks, and act as the first line of defense to resolve issues or delays
Provide clear, structured updates to leadership on integration status, risks, and realized synergies
Oversee and actively engage in the transition of core systems, including phone systems, domain names, websites, sales platforms, ERP, and other critical technology infrastructure
Partner with finance, HR, and operations leaders to ensure consistent processes, reporting, and controls across acquired businesses
Meet in person with all acquired employees—including field service technicians—to support onboarding, clarify roles, and reinforce cultural alignment
Act as the primary relationship manager for sellers and acquired leadership teams, supporting a smooth transition and maintaining trust throughout the integration process
Serve as a cultural steward, reinforcing company values while respecting the legacy strengths of founder-led businesses

Required

5–7+ years of experience in post-merger integration, value creation, consulting, or corporate transformation roles
Proven success integrating small to mid-sized, founder-led businesses in service-based or decentralized operating environments
Experience working in private equity–backed companies with an acquisition-driven growth strategy
Strong understanding of operations, finance, accounting, HR, and back-office functions
Highly organized, process-oriented leader with exceptional project management skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust quickly with business owners, field employees, and senior leadership
Hands-on, collaborative mindset with a willingness to work across all levels of the organization
