Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of personal injury matters in litigation
Conduct case evaluation, legal research, and liability analysis
Communicate with clients regularly to provide case updates and explain case strategy
Draft and respond to discovery, prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement demands
Represent clients in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court hearings
Work collaboratively with partners, paralegals, investigators, and medical providers
Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters and defense counsel
Maintain accurate case notes and follow firm procedures and deadlines
Prepare cases for trial and assist senior attorneys with trial-related tasks
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in Personal Injury Law
Must be able to multitask on numerous assignments and deadlines simultaneously
Must be able to draft, format and write Motions, Responses, and various other pleadings with little or no supervision
We are looking for someone who is available immediately
Associate Attorney: 1 year (Required)
Personal Injury Law: 1 year (Required)
